Product Description

Bean residue refers to the solid byproduct remaining after extracting soy milk or other products from soybeans. This residue, also known as bean dregs or okara, still contains valuable nutrients but is high in moisture.The bean dregs dryer is a drying equipment specially designed to handle bean dregs produced during soybean product processing. It can reduce the high moisture content of bean dregs (usually 70%-85%) to a safe storage moisture content of less than 10% through a series of treatments, making them easy to transport, store, or further process and utilize. The equipment is generally composed of a heat source system, a feeding system, a drying host, a discharging system, a dust removal system, etc. It can be divided into small single-machine equipment and large-scale continuous production lines according to different processing capacities.

Working Principle

1. Feeding Stage: Wet bean dregs enter the interior of the drying host through a conveyor belt or a screw feeder.

2. Heating and Drying: Hot air generated by heat sources (such as coal, gas, electric heating, or biomass fuels) fully contacts the bean dregs in the drying host, and the moisture in the bean dregs evaporates through heat conduction, convection, and other methods.

3. Material Turning and Mass Transfer: Under the action of the rotation or stirring device of the drying host (such as a drum dryer), the bean dregs are continuously turned and dispersed, increasing the contact area with hot air and accelerating the evaporation and discharge of moisture.

4. Discharging and Tail Gas Treatment: The dried bean dregs are discharged from the discharge port, and the tail gas containing water vapor is discharged up to the standard after dust removal and purification treatment to avoid environmental pollution.
