The hydraulic briquette machine produced by our company is an ideal solution for handling powdered, granular, and scrap materials in modern industrial applications. It utilizes advanced hydraulic transmission technology to apply immense static pressure, cold-pressing various waste materials into high-density, uniformly shaped solid briquettes. This equipment not only significantly reduces material volume, facilitating transportation and storage, but also transforms low-value waste into commercially valuable fuel or raw materials. Working Principle

The hydraulic briquetting machine operates in a cyclic process. First, during the feeding stage, loose raw material is delivered into the forming mold cavity, which is a thick-walled cylinder with one open end and one closed end featuring a small discharge hole. The core compression stage begins with the motor driving the hydraulic pump to draw oil and build pressure. Based on Pascal's Principle, this high-pressure oil is directed to the main hydraulic cylinder, forcing its piston to extend. The piston rod, connected to a ram head, then pushes it with great force into the mold cavity. The ram compresses the material intensely. The combination of the extremely restricted outlet and frictional heat generated under high pressure softens natural binders (like lignin in biomass), allowing particles to bond closely, drastically reducing volume and increasing density. Once the pressure surpasses the resistance at the mold exit, the compacted briquette is continuously extruded through the shaping sleeve at the front. During compression, a brief period of pressure maintenance (dwell time) ensures thorough compaction and bonding, while trapped air and moisture escape through minute mold gaps or the briquette itself. Finally, in the return stage, the hydraulic control valve shifts to redirect oil, retracting the piston and ram to their starting position,  ready for the next cycle.
