It has a compact structure, mainly consisting of a feed inlet, a screw conveying system, an extrusion cylinder (screen), a discharge outlet, and a driving device. It is suitable for dehydration treatment of various high-humidity materials, effectively reducing the moisture content of materials to facilitate subsequent transportation, storage, or reprocessing.

Working Principle

The core working principle of the screw press dehydrator is screw propulsion and extrusion filtration:

1. The material to be treated (such as sludge, fruit and vegetable residues, straw, etc.) enters the equipment through the feed inlet;

2. When the screw shaft rotates, it generates axial thrust and radial extrusion force on the material by virtue of the design of gradually increasing shaft diameter or gradually decreasing pitch;

3. Under the extrusion, the moisture of the material is discharged through the screen (or filter cloth), and the dehydrated dry material is discharged from the discharge outlet.
