The organic fertilizer granulator is a specialized equipment that processes dispersed organic materials (such as fermented materials like livestock and poultry manure, straw, sludge, kitchen waste, etc.) into granular organic fertilizers. Through specific mechanical force or physical and chemical effects, it forms loose organic raw materials into granules with certain strength and uniform particle size, which are easy to store, transport and apply.

Working Principle

Different types of organic fertilizer granulators have slightly different working principles. The principles of common types are as follows:

Extrusion granulator: Through two relatively rotating rollers or screws, the materials are extruded through the die holes to form columnar granules, which are then cut and trimmed into uniform granules.

Disc granulator: When the inclined disc rotates, the materials rotate with the disc under the action of centrifugal force and friction. At the same time, an appropriate amount of water or binder is sprayed to make the materials gradually agglomerate into balls (granules).

Drum granulator: When the cylindrical drum rotates, the materials roll inside, and by adding binders or water, the fine powders adhere to each other and gradually grow into granules.
