Minerals ore dryer is an industrial drying equipment specially designed to reduce the moisture content of mineral raw materials such as ores, slags, and concentrates. It evaporates the moisture in minerals through heating, and finally outputs dry mineral materials that meet the requirements of subsequent processing (such as crushing, grinding, smelting), storage, and transportation.

Working Principle

1. Feeding: The wet mineral materials to be dried are evenly fed into the drum of the dryer through a conveyor belt or feeder.

2. Heating and Drying: Driven by a motor, the drum rotates slowly. At the same time, high-temperature hot air generated by a hot blast stove (or other heat sources) fully contacts the mineral materials in the drum in a concurrent or counter current manner. Under the action of the lifting plates inside the drum, the mineral materials are continuously turned over and dispersed, which increases the contact area with the hot air and accelerates moisture evaporation.

3. Discharging and Tail Gas Treatment: The dried mineral materials are discharged from the other end of the drum, and then enter the subsequent process after cooling. The moist and hot tail gas containing moisture is drawn into environmental protection equipment such as dust removal and desulfurization devices by an induced draft fan, and is discharged after reaching the emission standards.
