Product Description

The coir brick production line is an advanced eco-friendly equipment manufactured in China, specifically designed to transform coconut coir (coconut husk fiber) and other agricultural waste into high-density, high-value ecological bricks. Utilizing automated technology, this production line ensures efficient and stable operation, making it ideal for horticulture, eco-friendly construction materials, soil remediation, and other applications—contributing to global sustainable development.

Working Principle

1. Harvesting:
Coconuts are harvested from the trees, either manually or with tools. 
2. Husking:
The outer husk of the coconut is removed, often using a specialized machine. 
3. Retting:
The husks are soaked in water (either fresh or saltwater) for several months to soften the fibers through microbial action. 
4. Decorticating:
The softened husks are then processed to separate the coir fiber from the pith (also called coir dust or peat). This can be done manually or with machinery like a fiber buster. 
5. Washing:
The separated coir is washed to remove impurities and reduce the salt content, especially important for horticultural applications. 
6. Drying:
The coir is dried, either naturally in the sun or with machinery, to reduce the moisture content. 
7. Sieving and Screening:
For some applications, the coir is sieved and screened to remove any remaining impurities or unwanted materials. 
8. Compressing:
For certain products like coir blocks or briquettes, the coir is compressed into the desired shape. 
9. Packaging and Shipping:
The finished coir products are then packaged and shipped to customers.
